If you have a tablet which allows you to install the Overdrive App, you can check out books from your library within the app (which will display a browser) and download them in-app. That's what I meant by directly. Re: Gerald, I don't believe he was talking about library books.

As a scientist you can always judge the usefulness and dissemination of your work by tracking your own citations (not just the journal impact factor). If these new online publishing outfits meet your expectations then that is fine. If you strive only ever to publish in Nature or Science, that is also fine.

One way of exploring what features a website builder offer (that Weebly does not), is to sign up for a free / trial account and just play around with the platform.

I heard about SquareSpace through a friend and thought I'd check it out for building my website. It's only been a week but I couldn't be more impressed: the beautiful templates, incredibly friendly customer service, and easy website building techniques make this the perfect site for any beginner or pro interested in building their website.
