Referring to your second comment, yes the easiest thing is probably to pick up the .com version of your domain name with Squarespace. This will make things a bit easier for sure.

Nice write-up! I can also recommend "Effective Python" by Brett Slatkin (from March 2015). Pragmatic, to the point, and taught me several things I didn't know about Python.

I know what you mean, and I'm not an old dinosaur yet! When I first started, I was clueless and confused as to what these techie terms meant as well.

Around 2000 Harlequin reissued Georgette Heyer's novels with forewards by popular contemporary novelists. Mary forewarded "The Talisman Ring". Is this available anywhere to read? (besides trying to find the 2000 issue?) I would really like to read it!

Please forgive my simple language as I am no website expert. I want to set up a design site that highlights visuals but also has a strong blog presence. I want visitors to be able to opt-in for information or to receive a newsletter which I see that SS does not provide.I was hoping to be able to have designated blog posts emailed to a list kept by a separate email service provider. I see you mention Mail Chimp but wasn't sure if this is seamless, meaning, can it be set up to work with SS to have auto-responders go out either via opt-in or on a scheduled basis. Thanks and great review!!
