Malini lives with her parents and young sister, Banni, in northern Sri Lanka. As the civil war heads towards its catastrophic end, Malini and her family are herded by Tamil Tiger troops towards the coast where they will act as human shields, along with thousands of other Tamil civilians. When Malini's father pushes a mobile phone into her hands and tells her to run off into the forest with Banni, Malini does as she is told. But then the shelling begins, and Malini has no way of finding her mother and father. With the role of parent thrust upon her, Malini has no choice but to travel to her grandfather's village a long way inland. She and Banni will need to keep off the highways and stay alert for soldiers from all sides. But where will the next meal come from? Who can they trust? Where will they shelter? And will they ever be reunited with their parents again? The uplifting story of one girl's odyssey through war-torn Sri Lanka.

Excellent, thorough, well balanced review. It has made my mind up to build our new website and online store with Squarespace. It has answered all the questions I had about which website builder to use. Thanks very much!!

I want to build a website and/or blog that will basically be like a Facebook group. Members, posts, personal chats (PM), uploading photos, avatars, etc. I'd also like it to be password activated, meaning that people need a password that I provide to participate, and that can be changed Р by me Р periodically. I'd like also to have a payment feature available, and the ability to have other editors/admins/mods. I'd like to be able to have multiple groups with different passwords, and give members the ability to form their own groups, although that's optional, since they could just ask me to do that.

I think we will build our own website now, it will take more hours on my part, but going from $720 per year down to $290 at the most, plus no up front cost makes a lot of sense for us. Thanks for your time and effort that you put into this.
